EyeVAN–Mobile Services
Owing to many factors, there are times when you can’t visit a treatment centre for an eye checkup. Thus, designed for the convenience of our clients, our mobile eye care services at 20/20 Vision Care bring checkups to your doorstep every Tuesday and Wednesday.
In Medicine Hat, our EyeVAN makes nursing home and personal home care visits. Our infrastructure includes new software installed in early March and specialty mobile equipment that we carry for in-home visits. We also have a mobile frame shop that offers value packs with our eye checkups.

Dr. Michael McClung
Dr. Michael McClung has four children and 12 grandchildren. Family is his ultimate love but kayaking is his all-time favourite sport. Dr. McClung graduated from Pacific University, Oregon, in 1986.
He practiced in Edmonton for a short while before moving to Medicine Hat. In 1987, Dr.McClung took over the office and patient care from Dr. Robin McQuarry who first started the office in 1952. It was a small office 3 m by 13 m with one waiting room, 1 exam room, and a total of 70 frames. Dr. McClung enjoyed the slower pace and family life of Medicine Hat and is proud to call Medicine Hat home. It has been very rewarding for him to see how the office has grown and how it has helped so many people over the years. For Dr. McClung, being an optometrist has been an amazing adventure, helping people, and best of all, it’s still lots of fun.
